Job Opportunity: Concierge Facility: Charlotte Bay Rehab and Care Center
Position: Concierge
Shift: Full Time, 11 AM to 7 PM
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking candidates with true hospitality experience—think hotel front desk, entertainment coordinators, or customer service professionals who excel in creating engaging and comfortable environments. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience is a plus but not required. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can serve as a friendly, approachable point of contact, ensuring Residents feel cared for and their concerns are addressed promptly.
Your Responsibilities: As the Admissions Concierge, you’ll ensure that each new Resident feels welcomed and supported. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Admissions and nursing teams to prepare for new Residents, ensuring their rooms are ready and equipped with essentials.
- Greeting and escorting new Residents to their rooms, presenting welcome baskets, and answering questions to help them settle in comfortably.
- Acting as a trusted friend and advocate, addressing Residents' needs, responding to concerns, and providing timely follow-ups.
- Supporting facility tours for prospective Residents and their families, assisting with room transitions, and facilitating Resident Council meetings.
- Preparing thoughtful gift bags for Residents transitioning back to the community.
- Maintaining daily progress updates for administrative staff to ensure seamless communication.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned by the Administrator to enhance the Resident experience.
What You Bring: - Strong background in hospitality, customer service, or a similar people-facing role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build genuine connections.
- Mobility to move throughout the day and lift 5-25 pounds, as required by OSHA guidelines.
- Functional sight and hearing or appropriate prosthetics to meet the position’s requirements.
