Job Description and Duties

Interested applicants must apply to this job advertisement. Interviews will be conducted in person at the CCHCS Region II Office located at 1320 E. Shaw Ave, Ste. 150, Fresno, CA 93710, Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

This classification is subject to Section 5, Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) Authorization of the California State Civil Service Pay Scales. The authorized HAM rate for this classification is $5028.

Occupational

Uses various treatment modalities including self-help skills, language, and educational techniques as well as sensory motor integration, physical restoration methods, and prevocational explorations to facilitate physical and psychosocial growth and development.

Minimum Qualifications:
Equivalent to graduation from a recognized college with major work in occupational therapy, or certification as an occupational therapist registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association, or eligibility for such certification.

Please note: A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications (MQ) will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet the MQ’s, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position.
