Here's what you'd do:

• The Project Controller Associate is an entry-level position in financial planning, project controlling, and business operations. 
• This position will work closely with senior project controllers, finance managers, and cross-functional teams to support various financial processes while gaining hands-on experience in a global, high-tech environment. 
• The Project Controller Associate will support the following areas: 
• Financial Planning Support: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for key programs under the guidance of the Project Control Manager. 
• Data Entry & Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data related to revenue, costs, and billing in accordance with internal policies. 
• Variance Analysis: Support tracking of actuals against budgets and forecasts, assisting in identifying discrepancies and trends. 
• Project Tracking: Monitor the financial health of ongoing programs by updating dashboards and maintaining tracking tools. 
• Reporting Assistance: Assist in generating internal monthly financial reports and preparing documentation for external audits. 
• Learning Client Finance Tools: Gain exposure to financial systems and tools used within client for project controlling and financial analysis.

• Hours: 40 hours/week 
• Length: Temp (13 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration or Economics
• Minimum 1 year of  experience in financial principles (budgeting, forecasting, P&L) 
• Minimum 1 year of  experience in Microsoft Excel 
• Minimum 1 year of  experience with financial analysis, FP&A, variance reporting, financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow management

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree 
• Accounting and project control appetite 
• ERP System understanding 
• Strong skills in Office 365
• Familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) 
• Ability to read and understand Financial statements is important.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail 
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a structured, collaborative environment 
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Possession of basic financial knowledge
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn methods and approaches specific to client, IFE.
• Exhibits a driven, self-starting personality, motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
• Displays curiosity and a team-oriented mindset, unafraid to ask questions and solve problems.
• Possesses the ability to offer solutions and contribute to process improvements.
• Understands the complexity and requires strong analytical thinking, particularly with bids.
