Estherville Foods is seeking to hire an Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, employee will be responsible for performing administrative tasks to support daily operations, this includes greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner, directing calls and visitors to the appropriate individuals, some accounting and provides direct support to the office manager.

EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Receptionist will receive visitors and answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals.
• Maintain Receiving Log and calculate cases of eggs broken based on carryover inventory and loads received
• Calculate weights on egg tickets and determine price to be paid based on set schedules determined by Management
• Prepare bills and enter into corporate system for payment on a weekly basis.
• Create and post notices to employees
• Interface between Shipping/Receiving departments and Carriers to ensure that Bill of Ladings (BOL’s) are complete and accurate.
• Perform any and all other duties that might be assigned by your Supervisor

Skills and Abilities

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Must be able to speak English, ability to speak Spanish is desirable but not required
• Good verbal and written communication and math skills
• Ability to work effectively with people in all levels and functions.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task efficiently
• Must have strong organization skills and be detail oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Quicken.
• Ability to use general office equipment is essential.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally may be required to lift items weighing 20-30 lbs. Must be able to multi-task. Work load varies from slow to very busy. The work environment consists of general office work. Individual should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
