Job Title: Kitchen Manager

Job Summary:

Our wine bar is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for preparing cheese and charcuterie plates, keeping up with dishes, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong work ethic. This is a full-time position with competitive rates and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cheese and charcuterie plates according to our established standards
• Know how to use a meat slicer
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces
• Keep up with dishes, ensuring that all items are washed, dried, and put away promptly
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including food handling and storage guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
