Job Description

Magpies Softserve is a chef owned and operated soft serve ice cream shop. We make all of our softserve ice cream and toppings in-house, from scratch so you won't find any gummy bear or M&M toppings here... We make every batch of ice cream with milk, cream or sugar. We also make vegan soft serve using either oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk. Our goal is to exceed in customers' expectations in quality and service. We believe that great product can only get us so far and must be met with excellent customer service from employees who CARE. We have built a great culture at Magpies, and we are excited to expand our hardworking team!

***This is a part time position, Friday, Saturday and Sunday must be open availability. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to weekends.***

Pay: $17.28 hr + Tips (Average Wage + Tips: $25-29 hr)

Qualifications

• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Able to multitask and stay organized
• Able to taste dairy and non dairy products. (milk, oat milk, almond milk, coconut milk)
• At least 4 days of open availability per week, including weekends (REQUIRED). Please do not apply if you cannot commit to weekends.
• Must maintain a positive attitude in a high volume/customer facing position for 6-8 hours.
• Must be punctual and have a sense of urgency
• Not hiring for seasonal positions at this time
